“Salutations!”
Allaina Cross appears before us in all her graceful beauty. She is standing in front of a well made bed. The white sheets were pure as the clouds. A small wooden shelve was set up beside the bed. On it was Allaina’s bible and an alarm block. A dresser is found on the opposite side of the bed and beside it is a window which seems more like a beautiful art work of the moon and night sky. More importantly, in the middle of it all, is our Voice Allaina Cross.
Instead of the robe she had on in her previous video, this time she’s in a night gown of the same style. Just like the robe, the white gown had a cross going from just below Allaina’s chest to her legs. The gown wasn’t well fitted; instead it was baggy and loose, except for the top which cuts off just below her neck. Allaina’s lovely blond hair was natural tonight and not in a hair bow or pony tail. The moons light shined one side of her and left the other dark, creating an amazing image.
Our Voice gave her audience a little smile and cupped her hands along belly before speaking with her angel like voice.
“As you can see I am just about ready for bed but before I drift off into my dreams I just had to discuss something. It appears my debut video package impressed those in the HWS booking offices because I have been placed in a match already!” Her smile grew, as the news of making her HWS debut was glorious. She had been waiting all her life to make a change and at last her chance has came.
“That’s right fellow believers, your Voice will be participating in a battle royal this Sunday at Sacrifice! And rest assured that right after Church I will be at the arena and ready all my opponents.” She really couldn’t believe she was put into a match of this nature so early in her career. A match like this could really be her opportunity. A good performance in this brawl could give her the attention she needed to help struggling souls.
“And no fellow believers! I will not be working myself into stress with work-out plans or planning because we all know I have the ultimate advantage already. The advantage of our savior Jesus Christ being apart of my heart. I don’t need to be stronger then any of my opponents this Sunday, or faster, or smarter. All I need to do is clear my soul before the match and keep my savior and lord in my thoughts.” Allaina smiled and her eyes looked up into the sky.
“He will guide me to victory.” Our Voice’s eyes returned to the camera. “He looks after me because I have accepted him into my heart. See, I have accepted his sacrifice for me and shown my gratitude by dedicating my entire life to bringing more people into his light.” Allaina smiled and seemed to be looking for someone, or a few someones, in particular out there watching.
“That is where my opponents for this Sunday come in. I would like to ask each and everyone of you a question: have you accepted our lord as I have? Have you read the bible and familiarized yourselves with his greatness and sacrifice?” She gestured back at the table where her bible sat. “Because if you have not I highly recommend you do; and then maybe you would understand what I do. You could feel the way I feel. Trust me, there is no safer place then under the light of Jesus. No place makes you feel stronger then where I am. No place makes you feel as good as where I am.”
Allaina lifted her arms and gestured around her. She gestured at the aura of purity that surrounded her. “You will never be complete until realize the things I am telling you. No championship belt will bring you the joy that the acceptance I speak of can.” She backed up a step or two and sat at the edge of the bed. Her eyes glazed up into the camera and her tender lips smiled. She hasn’t seen a bloomy day in years, all because of the acceptance she speaks off.
“So where do you fine young men stand?” A moment was gave as if an answer was expected. “Have you accepted him Earl Swisher? To be quite honest, from you subjective language in your most recent video packages, I would say you have not. It saddens me Earl, for such a young man to show such ignorance toward the righteous ways or our old testament. You are clearly unaware and uneducated to what Jesus Christ has did for you. You show no appreciation or respect for his ultimate sacrifice and it is highly recommended you change that, quick.”
Allaina gave Earl a priceless “you know better” look before continuing. “You pin an ACL injury on your lack in success over the past few years. Let me ask you Earl, have you ever thought that maybe your ACL injury was a sign? That you aren’t paying someone the proper respect for giving you the talent to be successful at all? I want you to think really carefully about that over the next couple of days Earl because I sincerely believe a education of the lord just might change your life.” Our Voice gave him a little smile.
“How about you Jake Hunter? How strong is your faith? I understand that you’ve been here before? In the HWS I mean? Funny, isn’t it, how things go? I’m sure when you left you had no intention on ever coming back yet here you are. In the same company you wrestled in before, with only memories of most the faces that were here before.” Allaina looked amused as she spoke. As if she was generally amazed at how life can be so random.
“I’m sure you are wondering where am I getting at. Jake, please take a moment and think. Think about why God has sent you back to us. Could it be a world title opportunity? A second chance at wrestling fame? Or could it be a sign. A sign that wrestling isn’t where you belong. Could God have sent you back as a sign over these past few years you’ve made zero progression? Maybe God is showing you this isn’t where you have to settle. Maybe it’s a sign that you should aspire for something else. Something you are..ugh… good at.” Allaina bet her jaw, feeling a little bad for telling Jake those last few words. She wasn’t saying he was bad, or that he couldn’t wrestle, she was just telling him the things his return could mean.
“The remaining three competitors in the battle royal are all in a little group from what I read of them. IoE as they like to be called.” Allaina kinda rolled her eyes but gave them a little smile. “I didn’t take the time to remember all three of their names, so I will ask you as a group. How strong is IoE’s faith in the lord? Is it strong enough for you three to consider this a true battle royal, and not compete in as a team? I would hope so, because if that were the case they would obviously have a strong advantage over me, Jake, and Earl as we have never teamed together.”
“The thing is, I have faith you will all respect the guidelines of the match and understand it is every man, or women, for their self. I am confident that you three will compete individually and not as a team. Why? O.. I don’t know.” She smiled, seemingly excited about laying down the reasons she believed they will wrestle as individuals. “But if you did team up against us; by us I mean a 19 year old girl, a injury prone singles competitor and a man who has had difficulty with teams in the past; it would really leave a tasteless first impression for you all. I mean, I really doubt many of the superstars of HWS would applaud your teamwork.” But that isn’t her only reason.
“And then we have that small little issue in which eventually you three would have to compete. Sure, it’d be easy enough to eliminate us as a team, but then you would have to either wrestle each other for a victory or decide upon yourselves who the winner’s gonna be. That wouldn’t do any good for IoE’s chemistry, now would it?” Allaina gave them a smile after that importation they are sure to think about.
“Well I think that’s everyone. Hopefully my words have spoken to you all and some of you might follow in my footsteps. Regardless, I wish you all luck and until we meet, God bless you.”
Allaina turned and crawled up the bed, the camera slowly fading away afterwards. She was in for a good nights sleep, feeling confident she had left a message in the hearts of all her combatants for Sunday.
